Pabna University of Science & Technology

Pabna University of Science and Technology (briefly 'Pabiprabi', or 'Paste') is a public university in Bangladesh. This university situated in Pabna district under Rajshahi Division is the first public university in Pabna district. It was established in 2008 and since 2009, 4-year graduate courses are introduced.

Location:

The Pabna Science and Technology University has been established on 30 acres of land on the southern side of Dhaka-Pabna highway in Rajapur, 5 kilometers east of Pabna city.

History:

By the formation of the Pabna Science and Technology University Act, 2001, the government of Bangladesh decided to set up Pabna University of Science and Technology at Gaeshpur Dhopaghata on the north side of the city's Nagarbari highway on July 15, 2001 and on 12th October 2008, SRO (No. ). Initially the TTC campus of Rajapur used to be used as temporary campus, but at present, the main campus was started at Rajapur, 5 kilometers east of Pabna. On 5 June 2009, the university's formal education program was inaugurated by then Planning Minister AK Khandaker, Bir Uttam. On February 9, 2013, the program was inaugurated by the UGC chairman Professor Dr. AK Azad Chowdhury.

Pabna Science and Technology University is located at Rajapur in the city of Pabna. It is located on the south side of the Pabna-Dhaka highway. Its original size is 30 acres. There are 20 departments in 5 faculties. There are 7 engineering departments.

Institutes and buildings:

Modern Language Institute. There is also a library of 50 thousand books, five modern laboratories, cafeteria, freedom pillars, transport system, academic buildings, administrative buildings.

Medical Center:

The medical center is located on the bottom floor of the administrative building. Under the supervision of two MBBS doctors, the medical center developed with medical officers and employees cured the students of all physical illnesses.
